The Crime Victims Action Alliance has been active in legislative advocacy since 1992. We were created to be a voice for victims, to educate members of the legislature and the community, about the affects of crime on victims, and to help improve rights and services for victims of violent crimes.

In addition to legislation, the Crime Victims Action Alliance is active in educating government agencies on how their actions and policies may affect victims of crime. We encourage collaboration between private organizations, law enforcement and state government, with the ultimate goal being an environment where victims are cared for and treated with respect and dignity; and provided the best, most comprehensive services available.

We will provide you with information regarding legislation that we are monitoring during the year and will keep our website as up to date as possible, to provide you with the most current information available. We will do the same regarding regulations and policies that affect victims and the public’s safety.
