Why should you donate to CVAA?

  • CVAA works hard to make sure that victim's voices are heard in the capitol, and across the country.

  • CVAA is the only crime victims rights organization that closely monitors the California Board of Parole Hearings and keeps statistics on each Commissioner's grant and denial rate.

  • CVAA works closely with Government agencies, such as the California Victim Compensation and Government Claims Board, the Office of the Attorney General, and the Governor's office to help improve services to victims of crime.

  • CVAA keeps up to date on important issues concerning victims of crime and public safety and ensures that any pressing issue information is disseminated quickly to their membership and other interested parties.

  • CVAA works on behalf of crime victims and the public's safety.

  • CVAA, as a 501c4 social welfare organization, is not eligible for most grant money and therefore must rely on donations to operate.
