The California Parole Board
The California Board of Parole Hearings is the agency that oversees parole for criminals who have been sentenced to life with the possibility of parole. The Board is made up of 12 Governor Appointed Commissioners who are responsible for determining the suitability of a life sentenced inmate to be released back into society.
